Q. When ordering a shower door, I am not sure what
the difference is between a framed unit and a frame less
(euro) unit.
A. A framed unit will have a header across the top,
on all sides-the frame around the door glass will be optional.
The glass will be 3/16” or 1/4” thick.
A frame less or “euro” style door will be supported by hinges
on the door (two to three depending on the door size).
Channeling or clips will support the wall edge and base of any
other glass panels used in making up the shower enclosure.
The glass for the shower door or shower enclosure is usually
3/8” or 1/2” thick.
Q. I am trying to measure my shower door for replacement.
How do I measure?
A. Whether you are measuring for a shower door or
tub enclosure you should make a sketch. Measurements
are always relayed in width X height. Always measure top
middle and bottom on width. Measure height considering shower head
placement and where you want the top of the shower door or tub
enclosure.
Q. How do I clean shower doors and mirrors with out streaking?
A. Use a mild detergent diluted in water and a squeegee for cleaning
glass
and mirror. This will prevent those annoying streaks we often see after
Cleaning.
Q. Can I measure my shower
door, order it online and have it shipped to me?
A. Yes! You can fax ,mail or email a sketch to us stating the
dimensions of the
shower door, shower enclosure or bathtub enclosure. We will send you
a quote
(shipping included). Your Product will arrive in 2-3 weeks.
